THE MOM BEHIND IT ALL

Hi, I’m Stacey!

I’m a mom, and like so many parents, sending my daughter off to college came with a whole new kind of worry. You’re proud of them, excited for them, and suddenly wishing you could be there for all the little things.

When my daughter, Kate, was away at college and got sick, I remember thinking, There isn’t anything I wouldn’t have done to make sure she had all of her favorite things to comfort her.

That feeling is what inspired A Hug From Home OU.

Because when your student is miles away, you can’t always be the one dropping off their favorite snacks, bringing them something they need, or showing up with a hug. But you can still make them feel cared for.

That’s what I hope every basket does.

I personally put each one together, hand deliver it, and include a handwritten note from you. It’s a simple way to remind your student that they’re loved, thought of, and never too far from home.

I’m so grateful I get to be the one who helps bring a little bit of home to them.
